World Book Night - Giving away 1,000,000 books in ONE NIGHT!
I just registered to give away a mere 20 books on World Book Night - as part of the attempt to give away 1 MILLION books in one single night. You have to register before February 1st to be chosen as a book giver. World Book Night happens on April 23rd.

Yay! I registered to give away books and funnily enough, those might have been the *exact* three that I selected, too. My fist choice was definitely Wintergirls and Hunger Games was definitely a back-up choice. I just can't remember if I ended up choosing Poisonwood or Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao for my other backup.

That was one thing I didn't like about the site... they didn't give any suggestions really about good places to give books away. I chose the mall right behind my apartment. I figure I'll just walk up and down and maybe visit the food court as well.
