Shelf: Reading Now
This wasn't horrible, it just wasn't that great either. It wasn't all that the 5 or so pages (overkill?) of good reviews inserted at the front of the book said it was going to be. It was hipster lit that poked fun of hipster lit. I hate hipster lit.
Shteyngart failingly and smugly attempts to hide how smart and profound he thinks he is behind not so funny double entendres and the outlandish scenarios in which he inserts his unlikable hero.
